Handmade pay it forward

image

Got this from my nephew’s blog– he got it from a friend.

I’m not sure if it is against the rules, but I’m going to try to

enter on both of theirs and see what the “pay” looks like!

Here are the rules:

I promise to send something handmade to the first 3 people who leave a comment on this post saying that they will also participate in Pay It Forward – 2011.

Those 3 commenters must fulfill the following requirements:

1. You must also participate in Pay It Forward on your blog, making this same offer to 3 other people.

2. The rules are that it must be handmade by you and it must be sent to your 3 people *sometime* in 2011.

I did this on Facebook and ended up with a wonderful chocolate ganache cake.

It is a lot of fun and I love the promotion of people making stuff for each other.

So- what do you think?

What should I make?

What would you like?

And comment please , even if you don’t want to sign up.

I haven’t posted lately and I miss hearing from you.  Smile

  1. I’d love some bread bears. But I can’t enter because I don’t have a blog to post on. I am also not so good at making things, except maybe meals. It will be fun to read what others write. Have a great Sunday!

  2. You make so many wonderful things, lavender wands and socks and bread bears and gingerbread cemeteries. And I love reading about them sweet Heidi! But I think sending a chocolate ganache cake over the Atlantic is stretching it a bit… It’s a great idea. I don’t make much apart from a mess in the kitchen as you know. Though I could send dried sourdough starter, but that’s a bit of a small thing… I think I’ll sit this one out.

  3. Bread bears Bread bears Bread bears!
It was so nice to see you again last night… I am not in the running for the three, but what would make anyone happier than a plump little bread bear?????? omgosh – they are the cutest things in the world. btw… when we walked in last night, i saw your cookies… there were only a few left… I told Danny to go get one before they were gone… by the time he got over there – GONE! We just can’t seem to score with your baked goods!

  4. Thanks Ladies!
I appreciate hearing from you. I am home, Brydie- but between babysitting and preparing an adoption party for my niece’s son it has been hectic around here!
I didn’t expect you to play- I only decided to on a whim and I’m thinking I will make a bunch of bears and offer them to anyone willing to come get them. 🙂
    Jill-
Thanks for the compliment. Kathy Marras made the cookies. She has started selling them- ask Allyson for the particulars. You are welcome to a bread bear next time I make them!
