I am not presently in my kitchen-<\/p>\n

I\u2019m in Virginia at my niece\u2019s kitchen- but I am<\/p>\n

prepared with some pictures from home and adding<\/p>\n

some pictures from here.<\/p>\n

is my favorite cookie jar- I filled it with cookies before I<\/p>\n

left for Frank\u2019s lunch desserts.<\/p>\n

I love this jar because it has been loved for a long time.<\/p>\n

It is old and the lid broke, but someone fixed another one<\/p>\n

to fit.<\/p>\n

And then they added a cork handle and painted it to match the<\/p>\n

roses.  I get good vibes from this jar- it makes me happy!<\/p>\n

rice pudding!  Another old thing that makes me happy.<\/p>\n

My brother, Bruce used to make a 9×13 pan of this when<\/p>\n

I was a young girl and if I was lucky and he wasn\u2019t too hungry<\/p>\n

he\u2019d share some.  I think this is one of my most favorite comfort<\/p>\n

foods.<\/p>\n

canary melon- from one of the shops in town.<\/p>\n

Tastes like a honeydew- and delicious with fresh figs!<\/p>\n

grilled chicken from the farmer\u2019s market- slow grilled after<\/p>\n

we rubbed it with spices and herbs and let it marinate for hours.<\/p>\n
