<\/a><\/p>\nBread, glorious, Bread!\u00a0 A sourdough loaf, flat bread with green olives,<\/p>\n and a twisted pesto loaf.\u00a0 All delicious and all- almost gone!\u00a0 I need to bake<\/p>\n some more!<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n Cookies!<\/p>\n Jars filled with cookies- wrapped and ready for lunches and snacks.<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n <\/p>\n caramel corn- and again, almost all gone- I need to make some more.<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n fresh garden vegetables- the tomatoes and cukes are from my garden- the<\/p>\n rest is from the farmers market.\u00a0 Okra, corn,candy onions, and potatoes- YUM!<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n a rose from from bush- a Peace rose that is so old it only gives me a couple of<\/p>\n blossoms each year- but one is ALWAYS on my birthday- so I consider it a miracle.<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n are giant blueberries.\u00a0 The biggest and sweetest I\u2019ve ever tasted!<\/p>\n And\u00a0 Blueberry Almond Bars-recipe here.<\/a><\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n are corks from many\u00a0 happy bottles of wine.\u00a0 We didn\u2019t drink them all but I<\/p>\n want to make a cork wreath and so I get lots of donations from family and friends.<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n Chicken Gumbo (without tomatoes- Frank doesn\u2019t like cooked tomatoes.<\/p>\n and my list of things to do\u2026<\/p>\n and a messy table for someone else to clean up.\u00a0 (see note above!)<\/p>\n Well- that is my kitchen this month- productive, yummy and messy as it<\/p>\n is often.<\/p>\n Go to Celia\u2019s blog Fig jam and Lime cordial<\/a>\u00a0 and see all the other entries.<\/p>\n And add an entry yourself if you have an blog and want to join in!<\/p>\n Happy August!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" August- all ready?
