<\/p>\n<p>( A friend recently told us,\u201d I thought my husband and I were foodies<\/p>\n<p>until I met you guys!\u201d&#160; And I DON\u2019T consider myself a foodie- just a VERY<\/p>\n<p>sincere lover of good foods!)<\/p>\n<p>In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/015.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"035\" border=\"0\" alt=\"035\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/035_thumb.jpg\" width=\"454\" height=\"304\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pork ribs, jalapeno poppers and bruschetta!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/033.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"033\" border=\"0\" alt=\"033\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/033_thumb.jpg\" width=\"458\" height=\"307\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I rubbed the ribs with Alderwood smoked salt, espresso , cinnabar and hickory<\/p>\n<p>smoked rubs- allowed them to marinate for several hours and then baked them<\/p>\n<p>low heat in a dutch oven and then grilled them.<\/p>\n<p>In my kitchen\u2026 <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/013.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"013\" border=\"0\" alt=\"013\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/013_thumb.jpg\" width=\"466\" height=\"312\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have some wonderful rubs, salts and spice mixes that we picked up in Anapolis,<\/p>\n<p>Maryland.&#160; They are all so marvelous and full of flavor and aroma- I\u2019ll be sharing more<\/p>\n<p>of these later.<\/p>\n<p>In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/017.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"061\" border=\"0\" alt=\"061\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/061_thumb.jpg\" width=\"489\" height=\"327\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have the most delicious cinnamon swirl bread to use for toast!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/062.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"062\" border=\"0\" alt=\"062\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/062_thumb.jpg\" width=\"487\" height=\"326\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I used a Ceylon cinnamon (instead of the cassis we often get in the USA masquerading<\/p>\n<p>as cinnamon)- and the flavor and fragrance is magnificent- really magnificent.<\/p>\n<p>In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&#160;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/066.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"066\" border=\"0\" alt=\"066\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/066_thumb.jpg\" width=\"528\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>is a loaf of seeded Italian bread- crusty on the outside and yet with a yeasty pull on the <\/p>\n<p>inside- perfect for tasting oils and vinegars.<\/p>\n<p>In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/070.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none;
