He likes potatoes- but for him it is all about <\/p>\n<p>the meat.&#160; Not fish, not pasta, not veggies.<\/p>\n<p>But really- he needs less red meat.<\/p>\n<p>So I\u2019m going to try one meatless meal a week.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/0261.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"026\" border=\"0\" alt=\"026\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/026_thumb1.jpg\" width=\"487\" height=\"326\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tonight it was homemade ravioli with mushroom and onion, sauteed in browned butter<\/p>\n<p> and crumbled sage.&#160; I got the recipe for the&#160; sauce and kind of used the noodle ingredients-<\/p>\n<p>you know, flour salt and eggs? &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.com\/recipes\/alton-brown\/ravioli-recipe\/index.html\">here.<\/a> It is an Alton Brown recipe from off of Food Network.com.<\/p>\n<p>But he had a sausage center, and this is supposed to be meatless, so I substituted the filling<\/p>\n<p>for a mushroom and onion mix that I sauteed onions and mushrooms and added salt and a sprinkle<\/p>\n<p>of sage.&#160;&#160;&#160; After it cooked down about 10 minutes, I added a half cup of plain yogurt and 1\/4 cup<\/p>\n<p>of Romano cheese.<\/p>\n<p>&#160;<a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/0011.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"001\" border=\"0\" alt=\"001\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/001_thumb1.jpg\" width=\"468\" height=\"313\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3 cups flour<\/p>\n<p>3 eggs<\/p>\n<p>3 Tablespoons water<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n<p>1 good slug of olive oil (about 3 Tablespoons )<\/p>\n<p>Put the dry ingredients in a bowl, create a well, and whip up the eggs and the other<\/p>\n<p>wet ingredients in a measuring cup and pour into the well.&#160; Mix the flour into the <\/p>\n<p>egg mixture, a little at a time, until your dough is holding well together.&#160; Then dump the <\/p>\n<p>entire mess onto your counter or bread board and knead the lump of dough for 8 to 10 <\/p>\n<p>minutes until it is smooth.&#160; You may not use up all the flour, but that is fine.&#160;&#160; Flatten<\/p>\n<p>into a disc , put into a plastic bag and leave in the fridge for about an hour.<\/p>\n<p>Then, spread flour on your counter and roll out VERY THIN!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/0061.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"011\" border=\"0\" alt=\"011\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/011_thumb1.jpg\" width=\"244\" height=\"164\" \/><\/a>Make up a egg wash-whip an egg up with some water and<\/p>\n<p>spread onto one line of squares.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/0121.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"012\" border=\"0\" alt=\"012\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/012_thumb1.jpg\" width=\"485\" height=\"325\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Place a small amount of mushroom filling- about a teaspoon- in the center of the eggy square.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/014.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"014\" border=\"0\" alt=\"014\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/014_thumb.jpg\" width=\"244\" height=\"164\" \/><\/a>Place the square in the next row on top and smooth around the<\/p>\n<p>filling and then seal the&#160; edges as you push the air out from the center.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/0151.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; Have a skillet with browned butter(1\/4 cup) next to the pan of boiling<\/p>\n<p>This is my very favorite part of the whole recipe!!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/0251.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none;
