Then add to the ground meat in a largish bowl<\/p>\n<p>and mix in the herbs,egg, milk, tomato paste, rice and pepper (jalapeno).&#160; Mix well<\/p>\n<p>with hands- or spoon- I use my hands.<\/p>\n<p>Shape into loaf shape, and <\/p>\n<p>Place on grill pan ( with holes to drain off the fat).<\/p>\n<p>and slather pesto on top thinly, then cover with bacon slices<\/p>\n<p>and bake in preheated oven-375F \u2013 for about an hour and a half.<\/p>\n<p>Allow to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.<\/p>\n<p> And the chocolate gluten free cupcakes?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/figjamandlimecordial.com\/2011\/07\/20\/little-chocolate-cakes-gluten-free\/\">Here is where I found the recipe!<\/a>&#160; Celia at Fig Jam and Lime Cordial<\/p>\n<p>found it on yet another Australian food blog.&#160; If you haven\u2019t made the<\/p>\n<p>trip to Celia\u2019s blog yet- you should- she always has the best recipes and<\/p>\n<p>some of the sweetest chickens I\u2019ve ever seen!&#160; Her bread is fantastic, as well!<\/p>\n<p>&#160;<\/p>\n<p>The slaw is just cabbages \u2013 red and green- sliced thin- and carrots, chopped.<\/p>\n<p>Add 1\/4 cup white balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper to taste and a couple tsps of<\/p>\n<p>olive oil- and you have a colorful and delicious slaw.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meatloaf with wild rice and bacon- unbaked view. &#160; And baked- really yummy!
