<\/a><\/p>\nthere are apples!\u00a0 Golden delicious, Jonagold and Jonathan.\u00a0 I was going to make<\/p>\n
a pie or sauce \u2013 but in my kitchen are also apple lovers- and the basket is getting<\/p>\n
emptier!\u00a0 Isn\u2019t this a lovely basket?\u00a0 It is an egg basket- so constructed to keep the<\/p>\n
eggs from breaking when gathered- and it keeps the apples from bruising as well!<\/p>\n
And it is also just a lovely basket!<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n are some lovely teas Meredith brought home.\u00a0 The Turkish apple and cinnamon is<\/p>\n my favorite- along with a deep plum tea that I made into an iced beverage!\u00a0 And<\/p>\n aren\u2019t the mugs beautiful?\u00a0 They are in my son, Jordan\u2019s kitchen now- she brought<\/p>\n them home from Canberra in her backpack and they made it without even a chip!<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n my latest harvest of Swiss chard- which I put into a sausage, bean,and potato soup-<\/p>\n that is so good and savory!\u00a0\u00a0 I love Autumn- soups and stews are perfect for dinner!<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n are basil and tomatoes from the garden.<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n is this ceramic knife- perfect for chopping basil so it won\u2019t turn black on the edges.<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n is this salad with fresh tomatoes, onions, basil and sourdough bread \u2013 add a little olive oil and<\/p>\n balsamic vinegar and we are talking delicious!<\/p>\n And in my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n in the oven right now\u2026<\/p>\n is a stew of butternut squash, candy onions and pork loin doused with olive oil and dusted<\/p>\n with thyme, oregano, basil, roasted garlic and smoky paprika.<\/p>\n Dinner!!!!
