{"id":7218,"date":"2013-07-28T13:54:56","date_gmt":"2013-07-28T17:54:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/?p=7218"},"modified":"2013-07-28T13:58:27","modified_gmt":"2013-07-28T17:58:27","slug":"my-favorite-book-in-the-kitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/?p=7218","title":{"rendered":"My favorite book in the kitchen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I know- this is a little early for an IMK post, but I\u2019ve<\/p>\n<p>been searching high and low for this book and finally found it!<\/p>\n<p>It was in my kitchen- hidden between two cookbooks in the pantry<\/p>\n<p>closet.<\/p>\n<p>I collect cookbooks- or I used to collect them.&#160; Then I got hooked on<\/p>\n<p>the internet and all the recipes on blogs and websites and well, my<\/p>\n<p>collecting days seem to be over.<\/p>\n<p>BUT-<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/011.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"011\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"011\" src=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/011_thumb.jpg\" width=\"427\" height=\"638\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>THIS book remains my favorite book for perusing in the kitchen!<\/p>\n<p>It is an Australian book, published in 2000- and I just love it.<\/p>\n<p>I spent 2 hours yesterday poring over photos and reading about the ingredients<\/p>\n<p>of cooking, baking,drinking, FOOD, glorious,FOOD!<\/p>\n<p>&#160;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/014.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"014\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"014\" src=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/014_thumb.jpg\" width=\"503\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>from fruit\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&#160;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/012.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"012\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"012\" src=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/012_thumb.jpg\" width=\"524\" height=\"351\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>to fish.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/013.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"013\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"013\" src=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/013_thumb.jpg\" width=\"524\" height=\"351\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And of course,<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/015.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"015\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"015\" src=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/015_thumb.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"365\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>cheese- this book has it all!&#160; I can look up cuts of meat, unfamiliar spices, types of breads <\/p>\n<p>and grains!&#160; And I lose myself in all of these wondrous ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>I am so happy I found it again.&#160; I find it an essential part of reading blogs- otherwise, I\u2019m<\/p>\n<p>scratching my head and wondering WHAT they are suggesting I roast for dinner?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know- this is a little early for an IMK post, but I\u2019ve been searching high and low for this book and finally found it!
