{"id":6999,"date":"2013-03-25T14:29:52","date_gmt":"2013-03-25T18:29:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/?p=6999"},"modified":"2013-03-25T16:43:48","modified_gmt":"2013-03-25T20:43:48","slug":"duchess-potatoes-from-leftovers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/?p=6999","title":{"rendered":"Duchess potatoes from leftovers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/0051.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"005\" src=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/005_thumb1.jpg\" alt=\"005\" width=\"513\" height=\"343\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I usually make potato soup or potato pancakes out of leftover potatoes.<\/p>\n<p>But last night I was making a roasted pork tenderloin with thyme, honey and OJ<\/p>\n<p>and I decided to make the meal a little royal- so I made Duchess potatoes.<\/p>\n<p>I used about 1 1\/2 cups of mashed potatoes,<\/p>\n<p>Heated up 3\/4 cup of cream,<\/p>\n<p>melted 1\/4 cup butter in the cream,<\/p>\n<p>whisked one whole egg into the mix<\/p>\n<p>and seasoned with nutmeg and s+p to taste.<\/p>\n<p>Spooned mixture into an icing bag- added a star tip and squeezed onto baking pan.<\/p>\n<p>Then I baked in a preheated oven at 375 degrees F-<\/p>\n<p>They were delicious.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/0041.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"004\" src=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/004_thumb1.jpg\" alt=\"004\" width=\"501\" height=\"335\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Add roasted vegetables and pork,<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/0032.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"003\" src=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/003_thumb2.jpg\" alt=\"003\" width=\"510\" height=\"341\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and a pineapple slice and blackberry fruit salad,<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/0072.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"007\" src=\"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/007_thumb2.jpg\" alt=\"007\" width=\"522\" height=\"349\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and you have a really great evening meal!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I usually make potato soup or potato pancakes out of leftover potatoes.
