Meet Thing Two,<\/em>Priscilla\u2019s American progeny!<\/p>\n Celia sent me some dried starter with two requests- that I named it and let you know<\/p>\n that Priscilla is the mother \u2013 and that I share some if anyone would like some.\u00a0 So if you<\/p>\n would like some of Thing two,<\/em> let me know.\u00a0 In fact, if you want some of Thing one<\/em>– which<\/p>\n is an all American starter and very sour- you are welcome to have some .<\/p>\n In My Kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n is a beautiful loaf of bread made from Thing Two! <\/em><\/p>\n My husband, Frank, \u00a0<\/em>really enjoyed this loaf.\u00a0 It is so different from Thing One-<\/em> the sour<\/p>\n taste is very mild, and it isn\u2019t quite as chewy as my first starter.<\/p>\n I know this because I made a loaf out of Thing One<\/em>– and it has the sour x8 and is very chewy!<\/p>\n They both are delicious \u2013 THANK YOU, CELIA!!!\u00a0 I love the different flavor and texture.<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n are many different flavors of sugar!<\/p>\n I\u2019ve had lot of salts from bacon to truffle, Hawaiian red to French grey, Lava Black to<\/p>\n Himalayan Pink- vanilla salt, hickory salt, all kinds of salt.<\/p>\n But I just noticed all the sugars I have.\u00a0 Ginger, Lemon, Orange, Lime, Tangerine, Demerra, Vanilla,<\/p>\n coconut, Espresso, Dark Cocoa- I\u2019m going to have to start using these- soon!<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n is a dwindling stash of TimTams.<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n Is a pile of crocheted cotton dishcloths made by my sister.<\/p>\n Thank you, Cynthia!<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n are dried herb wreaths and swags- Lemongrass, sage, bay leaf, and assorted soup herbs.<\/p>\n I\u2019m making a big pot of soup this weekend and using up the herb wreath I made for<\/p>\n Christmas.<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n is a molasses cake with whipped cream.<\/p>\n Notice the little metal tab on the side of the pan?\u00a0 You swing that all around the cake<\/p>\n once it is baked and it loosens the cake from the pan.\u00a0 I found this at a thrift shop and<\/p>\n LOVE IT!\u00a0 (The molasses cake was very good,as well!\u00a0 In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n are dragons,and leprechauns,and cats,and turtles and rabbits!<\/p>\n In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n are red tulips- from the florist- everything outside is frozen.
