is a lovely bouquet of coral bells, bearded Iris and mint.<\/p>\n

is this wonderful teapot lamp I got as a gift from my son and<\/p>\n

daughter in law- I love it because my kitchen is VERY well lit-<\/p>\n

and first thing in the morning all the lights stab me in the eyes.<\/p>\n

This lamp adds a wonderful ambience around 6 AM!<\/p>\n

In my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n

is this spice box that my sister Robin and her husband, John<\/p>\n

made me many years ago.\u00a0 It is lovely- has hung on my wall<\/p>\n

for quite a long time- and may be haunted.\u00a0\u00a0 It hangs sturdily on<\/p>\n

the wall, and mysteriously swings open from time to time.<\/p>\n

\"007\"<\/a> The latch doesn\u2019t open easily, but<\/p>\n

the door slowly opens sometimes when I am sitting with a cup of tea.<\/p>\n

And finally \u2013 in my kitchen\u2026<\/p>\n

\"008\"<\/a><\/p>\n

are these woven pieces.\u00a0 The tea towel is made of flax\/linen and is over a hundred<\/p>\n

years old.\u00a0 I had one very similar \u2013 or my mother did- that my grandmother made-<\/p>\n

this one is from a dear friend whose mother wove it in Yugoslavia.<\/p>\n

The green table runner-\"013\"<\/a> I wove<\/p>\n

when I was visiting my brother.\u00a0 He had his loom set up for me to try.\u00a0 It took<\/p>\n

me several days to get it to any considerable length.\u00a0 And I discovered that he was<\/p>\n

fixing my crooked (scalloped?) edges when I went to my hotel each night.\u00a0 I finally<\/p>\n

convinced him that I wanted it to be done by me- warts, ripples, crooked edges and all-<\/p>\n

so he left me to it!<\/p>\n

\"015\"<\/a><\/p>\n

What a lovely bouquet of flowers, columbines and bleeding hearts don\u2019t grow well in my garden. I couldn\u2019t live\u2013well bake\u2013without my scales. It\u2019s especially good when working with recipes in weights and changing the size of the batch. I\u2019ve never seen the lily pad covers before, so cute.<\/p>\n
