Strange title, that.<\/p>\n

But really descriptive.<\/p>\n

I am in the midst of the mid-winter doldrums.<\/p>\n

Depression.  Down in the dumps.<\/p>\n

The business of the holidays are over- and so is the magic and <\/p>\n

mystery.  We have celebrated both spiritually and physically-<\/p>\n

met together and rejoiced with those we love.<\/p>\n

And now everyone is scattered.<\/p>\n

And it is January.<\/p>\n

There is snow.<\/p>\n

\"007\"<\/a>\"009\"<\/a>\"010\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It is kind of beautiful, but it is also cold and I really hate when the sun shines<\/p>\n

on snow- it\u2019s blinding.  <\/p>\n

Today, however, I made a lunch up from various leftovers and it was very pleasing<\/p>\n

to the palate and the ear.<\/p>\n

Everything started with a P!<\/p>\n

Fresh pineapple and pomegranate salad!<\/p>\n

\"014\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Potato soup!<\/p>\n

\"017\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Pulled Pork!<\/p>\n

\"022\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Pumpkin seeds or pepitas to garnish the soup and of course, my can of POP <\/p>\n

(I know it is called soda in other parts of the world- but I call it pop)!<\/p>\n

\"021\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And my purple thumb from cleaning the seeds out of the pomegranate.<\/p>\n

So- my alliterative luncheon gave me a moment of pure pleasure.<\/p>\n

It happens that way sometimes. <\/p>\n

BTW- did you notice the buns?  Fresh bread also makes me happy!<\/p>\n
