This is the first loaf of sourdough French I\u2019ve made this week.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m back in Chincoteague in my test kitchen ( really Meredith\u2019s kitchen, but I<\/p>\n

don\u2019t think she objects if I call it my test kitchen, especially when, as in the <\/p>\n

next two weeks, she gets to test the results right along with us!)<\/p>\n

That\u2019s right- she finally gets to come home in the summer!<\/p>\n

She\u2019s never seen her house in the summer aside from in pictures- so yesterday<\/p>\n

Cynthia and I planted up three huge combination planters of very beautiful<\/p>\n

annuals and set them at the entranceways.  <\/p>\n

And I just made mini lemon cheesecakes to welcome her.  Cynthia and Ally<\/p>\n

are picking her up at Norfolk International Airport and Aiden and I are<\/p>\n

waiting patiently here for them to get back.  He\u2019s patient because I talked him<\/p>\n

into taking a nap.  I am really not very patient- but I am waiting quietly so <\/p>\n

Aiden will take a nice long nap!<\/p>\n

We went out to the beach yesterday.  The ponies were so close to the road<\/p>\n

that I couldn\u2019t resist taking a picture.<\/p>\n

And there are all these great pictures of Aiden playing with the waves!<\/p>\n
