{"id":379,"date":"2009-10-08T10:30:05","date_gmt":"2009-10-08T14:30:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/?p=379"},"modified":"2009-10-08T10:30:05","modified_gmt":"2009-10-08T14:30:05","slug":"may-god-grant-me-the-tenacity-of-a-rosebush","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.heidiannie.com\/?p=379","title":{"rendered":"May God grant me the tenacity of a rosebush."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/rosehips-and-Aiden-006.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right: 0px; border-top: 0px; border-left: 0px; border-bottom: 0px\" height=\"486\" alt=\"rosehips and Aiden 006\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/rosehips-and-Aiden-006_thumb.jpg\" width=\"366\" border=\"0\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>I have been feeling rather frail emotionally and spiritually.<\/p>\n<p>And I know why.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m too busy.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m trying to keep up with the schedule of my life.<\/p>\n<p>And my husband&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<p>And my children&#8217;s lives.<\/p>\n<p>And attempting to conduct the business from the lives of other loved ones who have needs right now .<\/p>\n<p>And in all that business, I am neglecting quiet time.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m wondering if I need an exorbitant amount of time to reflect.<\/p>\n<p>Because without time to just sit and wonder,<\/p>\n<p>and without time to just <strong>be<\/strong> in God&#8217;s presence,<\/p>\n<p>I become frazzled.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not even talking about the time I need for prayer and study and devotions.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m talking about <strong>being <\/strong>time.<\/p>\n<p>Quietly, silently, consciously<strong><em> being <\/em><\/strong>myself before the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>Like my rosebush that continues to send out flowers and bear fruit without fanfare or undue cultivation.<\/p>\n<p>Continuing to consistently continue.<\/p>\n<p>This is my prayer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/rosehips-and-Aiden-007.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right: 0px; border-top: 0px; border-left: 0px; border-bottom: 0px\" height=\"160\" alt=\"rosehips and Aiden 007\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/rosehips-and-Aiden-007_thumb.jpg\" width=\"121\" border=\"0\"><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/rosehips-and-Aiden-008.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right: 0px; border-top: 0px; border-left: 0px; border-bottom: 0px\" height=\"160\" alt=\"rosehips and Aiden 008\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/rosehips-and-Aiden-008_thumb.jpg\" width=\"212\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have been feeling rather frail emotionally and spiritually.
