My sons love coffee.<\/p>\n

They love the flavor, aroma, history, geography and the effects<\/p>\n

of coffee.<\/p>\n

I am a tea drinker.\u00a0 I WAS an exclusive tea drinker.\u00a0 No Coffee, for me,<\/p>\n

thank you very much!<\/p>\n

That was until my youngest son started making it and offering it to<\/p>\n

me every day.<\/p>\n

\u201cWould you like a cup of coffee, Mom?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSit down and have a cup of coffee with me, Mom.\u201d<\/p>\n

Seriously- how can a loving mother- offered a chance to sit and talk<\/p>\n

over a cup of coffee with her son -refuse?<\/p>\n

So I started drinking coffee between my tea times.<\/p>\n

Now, I\u2019m addicted- I WANT that cup of coffee every day.<\/p>\n

And I , too , love the romance of coffee.\u00a0 It is exotic- grown in climates so<\/p>\n

unlike my own, gathered mostly by hand, dried and packaged and sent<\/p>\n

off to be roasted to perfection and then shipped to us- bursting with flavor and<\/p>\n

a fragrance that is so rich and hearty that is almost enough just to smell it!<\/p>\n

But I digress- this is a story of brother\u2019s love.<\/p>\n

These brothers.<\/p>\n

For Christmas this year, they wanted to get the other something he<\/p>\n

would love.\u00a0 Something special.\u00a0 Something important.<\/p>\n

Something that he could REALLY use.<\/p>\n

And so \u2013 they chose something that was just what they would have wanted<\/p>\n

for themselves.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 An automatic burr coffee grinder.<\/p>\n

Not knowing that his brother was choosing exactly the same gift for him,<\/p>\n

they purchased and admired and wrapped their gifts- I think regretting that<\/p>\n

they couldn\u2019t give it a try first.\u00a0 On Christmas morning, they exchanged their<\/p>\n

gifts- and although they were different models and makes- they were so<\/p>\n

pleased to give AND receive a burr coffee grinder for Christmas.<\/p>\n

OK- it\u2019s not exactly O. Henry\u2019s , Gift of the Magi\u2019s<\/em>, but it is such a sweet<\/p>\n

gift exchange that I had to share it.<\/p>\n
