I usually buy my spices at bulk stores and get it <\/p>\n<p>fresher that way.&#160; But I left this ingredient out of the soup last time because:<\/p>\n<p>1) the stores didn\u2019t carry cardamom (WHAT?&#160; I was in a remote place in Virginia)<\/p>\n<p>2) the store I found that carried it wanted $20+ for a medium size bag.<\/p>\n<p>So I waited until I came home to my own little stash!<\/p>\n<p>&#160;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/Halloween-bread-bears-006.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none;
