border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px\" title=\"058\" border=\"0\" alt=\"058\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/058_thumb.jpg\" width=\"463\" height=\"348\" \/><\/a>   <\/p>\n<p>These are not your typical Italian-style bread sticks.<\/p>\n<p>I got the recipe from a Hungarian friend of mine and they are in texture more<\/p>\n<p>like a Kifli cookie.&#160; But they are savory and so flaky and good.<\/p>\n<p>Try them _ I KNOW you will like them.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>4 1\/2 cups plain AP flour<\/p>\n<p>3 tsp. salt<\/p>\n<p>2 sticks (1\/2 lb.) butter- room temperature<\/p>\n<p>1 TBS yeast<\/p>\n<p>1\/3 cup warm water<\/p>\n<p>16 oz sour cream (1 lb)<\/p>\n<p>2 egg yolks (you will use the whites when you roll out dough.)<\/p>\n<p>Proof yeast in water.&#160; Mix salt and flour in large bowl.&#160; Add all other ingredients and mix<\/p>\n<p>together well.&#160; Knead lightly and form into ball. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/036.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px\" title=\"036\" border=\"0\" alt=\"036\" src=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/036_thumb.jpg\" width=\"244\" height=\"184\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Turn bowl over onto top of counter and allow to raise 1\/2 hour.<\/p>\n<p>Roll out and brush loosely whipped egg whites on top.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heidiannie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/037.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom: 0px;
