I admit it.<\/p>\n

I have a fascination with socks.<\/p>\n

Funny thing is- I don’t even like to wear socks.<\/p>\n

I don’t even like to wear shoes- I’m mostly barefoot or in sandals.<\/p>\n

But I like making socks! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Only, I make them from the bottom up instead of from the top down.<\/p>\n

So the sock is made for individual feet.  You need to have an image of the particular foot to make them this way.  <\/p>\n

Who would have thought it was so hard to get people to give you a hard copy of their foot?  I asked my brother at least two months ago for a cardboard cut out of his foot.  I still don’t have it.  I asked his daughter to help him draw around his foot and send me a copy on paper.  Still – no foot.<\/p>\n

I asked my niece, Meredith, for a cut out of her foot.  She lives in Japan- I can’t just go and do it myself.<\/p>\n

but that doesn’t help when I need a pattern for her foot.<\/p>\n

I told her of my dilemma and she put her foot up to the Skype camera.<\/p>\n

I will spare you that<\/u><\/strong> particular picture.<\/p>\n

I finally traced Cynthia’s foot which is the same length and general size- pared it down to make it slimmer-<\/p>\n

here they are!  Knitted with wool Meredith brought me from New Zealand.<\/p>\n

Now I’m working on a pair for Luke!<\/p>\n
